Brooks becomes the second high-profile player to land in Houston after Fred VanVleed agreed on a three-year $130 million deal earlier in the free agency period.
Last season for the Memphis Grizzlies, Brooks averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists on 39.6% shooting. He was known for instigating conflicts with various league starts, most notably - LeBron James, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and even NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.
In a trade with the Brooklyn Nets, the Rockets also acquired Patty Mills, who's expected to be included in the final Brooks deal.
