Gordon considered offers from multiple contending teams, Charania adds, but ultimately choose to play alongside the Big Three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal.
The former Sixth Man of the Year chose between Phoenix, Golden State, and Houston, The Athletic's Kelly Iko reports.
After starting the season with the Houston Rockets, the veteran player was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in February, where he finished the season. In 69 games last year, Gordon averaged 12.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 44.6% shooting (37.1% 3PT).
In his 15-year NBA career, Gordon played for only three teams - Clippers, Rockets, and New Orleans Pelicans.
