After parting ways with two players, Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz announced a new signing.

The Basques officially announced the signing of Nikos Rogkavopoulos to a three-year deal.

The 21-year-old forward spent the last season with Yukatel Merkezefendi in the Turkish League (BSL), averaging 15.4 points, 4.5 assists, and 1.8 assists. The team finished the regular season in 13th place and did not advance to the playoffs.

He played 3 matches for the Greek national team throughout the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers windows, averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds for 17.7 PIR. Most notably, he had a monster game against Serbia in February of 2023 when he recorded 28 points on 8-for-12 shooting and 4 rebounds for 30 PIR.

Rogkavopoulos joins Niccolo Mannion on the new signings list of the offseason.

Additionally, Baskonia parted ways with Max Heidegger after just one season. The 26-year-old played an episodic role on the team, averaging 2.5 points and 2.0 assists for 2.1 PIR in 12 games in the EuroLeague.

Earlier in the day, Baskonia also announced that Daulton Hommes is leaving the organization.
