The Greek guard held a meeting with Olympiacos Piraeus' owners Panagiotis and Georgios Angelopoulos on Monday. However, the discussion did not yield any results even though it lasted approximately 4 hours.

The two sides will meet again in the upcoming days, Kostantinos Melayes from Gazzetta.gr notes.

"There was a very constructive discussion with the presidents. There is mutual respect. There will be continuity. You will be informed. No decision has been made yet," Sloukas told after the meeting, via Gazzetta.gr.

Melayes writes that the biggest point of discussion was not financial. In fact, it was one of the least discussed topics during the meeting, the journalist notes.

Sloukas is reportedly unhappy with his role in Olympiacos. Notable, he started in just one EuroLeague game in the last two years after starting in 33 out of 34 in the 2020-21 season.
