As German news outlet BILD reports, ratiopharm Ulm's guard Karim Jallow might miss an extended period of time due to his issues with NADA.

Jallow missed three doping tests in a 12-month period which triggered an investigation. The usual penalty the player can face is a two-year ban. It can be reduced to a maximum of a one-year suspension, BILD notes.

Due to his experience playing for the German national team, Jallow belongs to a category of players that have to report their whereabouts at all times on the specialized Adams (Anti-Doping Administration and Management System) app so that anti-doping control officers can test the athlete unannounced at any time.

Players have to provide a 60-minute window between 6 AM and 11 AM each day, during which they can be contacted for a doping check-up. Vacations, practices, games, and training camps are also recorded on the app, BILD writes.

In this case, Jallow either failed to report the required details or missed the check-ups.

Jallow has played in 18 games for the German national team. This past season, he became the German League (BBL) champion with Ulm.
