Ever since Damian Lillard requested to be traded from the Portland Trail Blazers, multiple storylines have emerged about his possible destinations. His agent, however, came out with a bold statement.

Shams Charania from The Athletic initially announced that the superstar guard was only willing to be traded to the Miami Heat. Even though subsequent reports indicated that several other teams are in the mix for the player as well, recent developments seem to circle back to the initial notion.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, Lillard's agent Aaron Goodwin has been calling potential suitors to say that they would be trading for an unhappy player, essentially persuading organizations against trading for him.

Goodwin has now addressed this report.

"I do what I should for my client. Some teams I did call. Other teams have called me. It's a respectful relationship with most teams. Truthfully, he wants to play in Miami. Period," he told via Barry Johnson from Miami Herald.

Lillard still has two years left in his contract with the Trail Blazers, however, he'd like to play on a team that has title-winning potential, multiple reports indicate.
