"I will talk to Pop and listen to what he's going to say, but I'm ready to make any sacrifice for the team," Wembanyama said. "I need to sit down with him to know what the next months are going to be like."
The 19-year-old also added that not playing in the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup will work in his favor.
"When to go on vacation, when to start working out again, where I'm going practice. [Will] it be in San Antonio or somewhere else. As I'm not playing in the World Cup, I have 2-3 great months. They will change my life. I will probably disappear from the media for the next months, honestly," Wembanyama added.
