In a conversation during Stoiximan Aegan Festival, Papapetrou admitted he's not thinking too much about it at the moment.

There was a lot of talk about where I will continue to play, but I believe it is not all true," Papapetrou said during Stoiximan Aegan Festival. "I am currently enjoying my vacation, I have not analyzed anything too much, all options are open. I have not made a decision, we will see how the situation develops."

Papapetrou was linked with a return to Panathinaikos Athens in recent weeks, but nothing has been confirmed so far. He still has a contract with Partizan until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Last season, the 29-year-old Greek international averaged5.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.1 PIR per game over 38 EuroLeague games for Partizan.

Papapetrou was also surprised by Kostas Sloukas' decision to join Panathinaikos. Nevertheless, Papapetrou was supportive of his teammate in the Greek national team.

"Nobody expected it from him, but it was a professional decision, and I understand it probably better than others. He proved himself and gave his best, and there is still much more ahead of him. It was his decision, and he deserves respect. I wish him health and all the best," added Papapetrou.
