German side Bayern Munich had also expressed interest in the player but has now moved on from him, with deals lined up to acquire Carsen Edwards and Sylvain Franciso, sources have told BasketNews.
Fenerbahce has been looking for options to improve their backcourt and they consider Madar an exciting profile.
Despite the recent rumors about the potential departures of Nick Calathes and Tyler Dorsey, the Turkish side, so far, has not taken any official action regarding the two players and they look determined to continue with both of them.
Madar is under contract with Partizan Belgrade until 2024 and the player has emerged as an important piece coming off the bench for coach Obradovic. In his first EuroLeague season, Madar averaged 6 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 rebounds per game.
The Israeli point guard was also selected by the Boston Celtics in the 2020 NBA Draft with the 47th pick overall.
Conversations have been ongoing between the player's representative and the Celtics, sources have told BasketNews, so the NBA option remains on the table for Madar.
Fenerbahce hasn't made any official additions to their roster yet, although is expected that the Turkish club will add former Barcelona big man Sertac Sanli.
