The KLS Licensing Committee did not approve the club's request for a license,Sportski Zurnal reported.
The decision was made because of two reasons. First, Partizan did not participate in last season's tournament. Second, the organization has outstanding debts to the Serbian Basketball Association (KSS) and the Regional Basketball Association (RKS).
However, the club filed a complaint, which was upheld by the KSS, Sportklub reports.
As stated in the explanation, Partizan have settled all the necessary debts, thus removing all obstacles to obtaining a license. This decision is final and there is no right of appeal.
In the previous two seasons, Partizan missed the finals of the Super League. The first time because of their own intentions, and the second because they did not file an application in time.
For the black-and-whites, the most important thing is that they have solved one problem off the field and will be able to fight for a trophy that they have not won since 2014.
