According to BasketNews sources, Hall is on the verge of acquiring an Azerbaijani passport.

Bosman's status will not count Hall as a non-EU player in the French League.

In France, teams are allowed to have up to six foreign players on the roster for a single game. Among them, four face no passport restrictions, while the remaining two must either hold a Bosman or Cotonou passport.

This status will also open up potential opportunities for Hall in the future, allowing him to explore playing in some of Europe's strongest domestic leagues, such as the ACB.

Azerbaijan made its return to the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries in 2022, finishing fourth in the tournament, which is the lowest-tier category of the biennial FIBA EuroBasket competition.

Former EuroLeague head coach Aleksandar Trifunovic led the Azerbaijani national team.

Jordan Davis, an American-Azerbaijani player from UCAM Murcia, who played as a naturalized player, emerged as the top scorer for the team.

In his second season in the EuroLeague, Hall achieved an average of 7.5 points (72.9% 2P), 5.5 rebounds, 0.9 blocks, and a 12.3 performance index rating (PIR).

He also set four career records in blocked shots (4 against Maccabi), total rebounds (13 against Efes), offensive rebounds (5 against Efes), and steals (3 against Baskonia).

Hall ranked third in the league for total blocked shots (37) and fourth for offensive rebounds (88).

In the French championship, Hall maintained an average of 7.0 points (77.9% 2P), 4.7 rebounds, and an 11.1 efficiency rating in 19 minutes per game.
