Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul officially announced that the Nigerian center is leaving the club after a season of partnership.

Jekiri had an option in his contract with the organization but it was decided not to invoke it.

In 30 games in the EuroLeague last season, Jekiri played as a backup to Johnathan Motley and averaged 4.9 points and 3.2 rebounds for 6.8 PIR.

Due to the foreign player limit, Jekiri played in only 10 games in the Turkish League but his stats were better when compared to the international competition - 5.6 points and 5.5 rebounds for 10 PIR.

Fenerbahce were the seventh team in Jekiri's professional basketball career. The center hasn't stayed in one organization for more than a season so far.

Sertac Sanli and Nate Sestina have already joined Motley in the frontcourt. Additionally, Georgios Papagiannis has a deal in place with the club.
