The former player has been arrested with charges of domestic violence. He was temporarily banned from contacting the victim - his wife.

The injured wife told the police that her husband physically attacked her first in the vehicle, hitting her several times after a verbal argument. Then, Radivojevic hit her with an open fist after returning to the shared apartment, causing serious bodily injury. The incident happened at around 2:45 AM on Monday, July 17th.

Blic reports that the woman has ruptured her eardrum.

Radivojevic will be heard tomorrow before the public prosecutor where extra information will be examined.

In his 17-year career, Radivojevic played for Crvena Zvezda on three different occasions - from 2003 until 2007, during the 2009-10 season, and from 2011 until 2013.

Radivojevic got into a fight on the court once while playing for Crvena Zvezda. During the 2004-05 season, he and his teammate Vladislav Dragojlovic got into a fight with Vojvodina's Kebu Stewart.

Stewart knocked Dragoljovic down. Radivojevic quickly went to defend his teammate. In the process, Radivojevic punched Stewart who ended up with a bloody eye.
