To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of FCBQ, the Catalan national team will return to the basketball court to play against Argentina in a friendly match on July 25th.
With a week left until the matchup, the rosters of both teams were announced. The most interesting detail is that Ricky Rubio has been included in the 12-man list for Catalonia. However, his participation depends on receiving permission from the NBA to play in the friendly game.
Alongside Rubio, well-known names such as Pau Ribas, Joel Parras, and Pierre Oriola are also included on the list.
On the other side of the court, Facundo Campazzo and Luca Vildoza lead the Pablo Prigioni-coached team that prepares for the upcoming Olympic Pre-Qualifier Tournament in Argentina in August.
