Bentil becomes the third notable EuroLeague player to head to Japan this offseason, following in the footsteps of Hassan Martin and Arturas Gudaitis, who also left the EuroLeague for The B.League.
Bentil has been a part of several EuroLeague teams since 2019, including Panathinaikos Athens, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, and Crvena Zvezda.
During the 2022-23 EuroLeague season, Bentil maintained an average of 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and an 8.3 PIR in 20 minutes of play.
He started the season impressively with 13.9 points and 5.9 rebounds, shooting 48% from beyond the three-point line in the first seven EuroLeague games.
In the Adriatic League, Bentil boasted an average of 8.7 points (42% 3P), 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and an 8.7 PIR in 17 minutes.
