However, the 57th pick in the NBA Draft won't play in the world's top league, at least for the time being, as he's been announced by Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade on a one-year contract extension that expires in 2025.
Koprivica, who missed much of last season with mononucleosis, was traded for cash after being drafted two years ago by the Charlotte Hornets. He was immediately dealt to Detroit, from where he was recently sent to Los Angeles.
The 23-year-old big man won the title in the ABA league with Partizan last season, averaging 6.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per match. He scored 14 points against Zadar and 10 vs. Mega, which were his best games.
He only got to play six EuroLeague contests, averaging just one point and 1.3 rebounds in 4.5 minutes of playing time.
