The Turkish forward has signed a two-way contract with the NBA franchise, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

As Basketfaul reported on June 23, Bitim had an impressive presence at the Summer Camp and convinced the Bulls that he deserves a chance. Hence, Chicago offered him a two-way contract for next season.

Prior to the Bulls, Bitim also had work outs with the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder. In addition, Turkey's EuroLeague representatives Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul showed interest in him, but the player chose the NBA path instead.

Bitim, 24, is slated to play in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament that will be hosted in Istanbul next August. Turkey will take part in Group C and will face Ukraine, Bulgaria and Iceland.

Bitim had an outstanding season with Frutti Extra Bursaspor, averaging 18.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per Turkish league contest and 18.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists per EuroCup game.
