In fact, the star lineup consisting in Mike James, Jordan Loyd and Elie Okobo has been significantly enhanced by the 4-time NBA All-Star guard.
Brown mentioned the results his team obtained last season and made clear that he expects Monaco to do at least as well in the 2023-24 campaign.
"Last season, y'all said we needed three basketballs to play," the American big man wrote in an Instagram story.
"Results: French Cup champions, Final Four, French league champions. Now, you say we need four basketballs. Results: OMG."
Walker was teammates with Bayern Munich's latest signing, Carsen Edwards. The two played for the Boston Celtics between 2019 and 2021, before they both moved to other places. Bayern posted an illustration comparing their star guards and, naturally, coming to the conclusion that they're sticking with Edwards.
"This season is going to be fun," Shabazz Napier tweeted. One of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet's marquee signings will face Walker when the two teams square off.
Chima Moneke, who made his EuroLeague debut with AS Monaco last season before recently moving to Baskonia, commented on his ex-team's talent level. "Is there ever a thing as too much talent on a team? Asking for a friend," the former Sacramento Kings player wrote.
Former EuroLeague scoring guard Malcolm Delaney thinks Mike James will form an exquisite combo with Walker. By the way, Delaney hasn't been on the same team with either player.
