According to an announcement, Avdija is carrying a hip injury, and the Washington Wizards didn't allow him to join the national team.

Israel will compete in the Pre-Olympic Qualifying tournament in Poland and Estonia. Israel is placed in Group A and will compete with the Czech Republic, North Macedonia, and Estonia.
