Boston Celtics star center Kristaps Porzingis headlines the list alongside his NBA compatriot Davis Bertans. EuroLeague's Rolands Smits and Arturs Kurucs are also included on the list.
Most of the players last played for teams in Spain, Lithuania, Poland, and Italy.
Latvia will compete in Group H in the World Cup together with Canada, Lebanon, and France.
