Collet coached Metropolitans 92 the last two seasons, leading the team to the French League (LNB) final this past year.
Foirest, meanwhile, coached Beliers de Kemper - a team that plays in the second division Pro B - from 2015 up until the last season. Since 2017, he's been an assistant coach to Collet in the French national team.
Foirest spent the vast majority of his playing career in France, winning the local league six times. He won the silver medal in the 2000 Sydney Olympics with the French national team.
