After several years of difficulties, Ben Simmons seems to be finally ready to make his true return to the NBA.

The player has been out since late February due to a problem with his back. However, good news has reached the Brooklyn Nets.

According to NBA insider Ian Begley, the Australian player has completed the rehabilitation process and is now considered to be 100% healthy. Simmons is expected to be fully ready for pre-season training camp and start practicing from the very first day.

The player is now working on skills and conditioning.

Simmons' team considered multiple options for treatment after the 2022-23 season, including surgery, but decided to follow a rehab plan, and it seems that it has worked.

Simmons has been plagued with injuries throughout the last several seasons. He missed the entire 2021-22 season first because of a dispute with the Philadelphia 76ers, then due to lack of match readiness and back soreness.

The player averaged just 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game last season compared to his career averages of 14.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 7.5 assists.
