Move after move, Panathinaikos Athens almost completely revamped the roster ahead of the 2023-24 EuroLeague season. The club is ready to make one more addition to the roster.

According to SDNA, the Greek team is interested in signing Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk. The Ukrainian forward is seen as the final piece of the puzzle that would finish the team's roster.

Mykhailiuk began the last season while playing for the New York Knicks but finished the year wearing the shirt of the Charlotte Hornets. In 32 games total, he averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.

In 19 games with the Hornets, he registered numbers of 10.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists but it hasn't been enough to guarantee him a deal in the NBA so far. After earning $1,968,175 on a one-year deal last season, Mykhailiuk is now an unrestricted free agent.

The Ukrainian player has prioritized getting a contract in the NBA, Gazzetta.gr note, but a return to Europe remains an option if the first option fails, and Panathinaikos are preparing to be the first team to sign Mykhailiuk.
