Australia will play 5 exhibition games before FIBA Basketball World Cup, from August 14 to August 22.

Australia will play 5 exhibition games ahead of the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

The Boomers will finish their preparation for the tournament on August 22 in Okinawa, Japan, with a game against Georgia.

Australia will also face powerhouses like France and Brazil while preparing for the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Australia has already announced its extended 18-man roster, including players like Josh Giddey, Patty Mills, Dante Exum, Joe Ingles, Matisse Thybulle, and others.

During the FIBA Basketball World Cup, Australia will play in Group E in Okinawa, Japan, and face Germany, Finland, and the host nation, Japan.

If Australia advances to the Second Round, it will meet teams from Group F, consisting of Slovenia, Cape Verde, Georgia, and Venezuela.

FIBA Basketball World Cup will take place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10 and will be hosted by three nations for the first time.
