As Mozzart Sport reports, the match between the two teams, scheduled for August 5th, has been canceled.
The game was called off because no venue in Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro, could host the event. A youth handball championship occupies Moraca Sports Center while the main Bemax Arena is renovated.
As such, no venue remained that could properly host the match according to all rules and requirements. The outlet notes that the Serbian national team was offered to play the game in Bar, but the federation refused.
With August 5th now being free, seven matches remain in Serbia's schedule ahead of the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
