Roca Team center Donatas Motiejunas, a six-year NBA veteran himself, welcomes Walker's addition positively and is optimistic about Kemba's impact on the team.
"I knew we were aiming for big names and looking to sign a star," Motiejunas told Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews.
"Through my connections with people I played and worked with in the NBA, I learned that Kemba is not only an excellent player but also a genuinely good person," D-Mo assessed, praising the American guard.
"I believe Kemba will bring a lot to the table and take some pressure off Mike James," the Lithuanian continued. "Perhaps this means James will see slightly reduced playing time. I don't expect us to play three guards simultaneously since that approach didn't work well last year. Instead, I envision a more balanced distribution of playing time.
"Our focus will be on efficiency and quality. We don't want everyone on the team taking 30 shots each. Then the team won't achieve anything," Motiejunas concluded.
