Reuvers, 24, will make his EuroLeague debut with the Spanish side. The player arrives from Italian Reggio Emilia where last season he averaged 9.5 points with 42% on three-pointers, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks for a PIR of 11 between the Italian Serie A and the Basketball Champions League.
The 2.11 m. forward from Lakeville, Minnesota, played basketball at Lakeville North High School in his hometown, and his 26 points and 12 rebounds his senior year in high school caught the attention of the University of Wisconsin, with whom he completed a four-year cycle from 2017 to 2021.
At a statistical level, his best campaign was the third in which he was the top scorer and blocker for his team with an average of 13.1 points and 1.9 blocks, to which he added 4.5 rebounds and 12.5 of rating per game.
These numbers allowed him to be chosen in the All-Big Ten third team for the 19-20 season. The intimidating facet was one of his strong points during that college period, breaking Ethan Happ's record and becoming the best all-time blocker at the University of Wisconsin.
After finishing his university education and not being chosen in the 2021 draft, the American big man headed for Europe for his first professional experience in the ranks of Cibona Zagreb.
In the Croatian league, he averaged 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks and helped Cibona win the League and Cup titles in Croatia. Some figures that he surpassed with more presence on the field in the Adriatic League, averaging 10.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks for a PIR of 11.6.
