Former Detroit Pistons sharpshooter Deividas Sirvydis has finalized an agreement with Lietkabelis Panevezys, sources tell BasketNews.

The news was first reported by Rokas Pakenas from 15min.

According to BasketNews sources, the agreement with Lietkabelis includes a clause allowing Sirvydis to join a EuroLeague club before the season's official start (October 5).

A 23-year-old, 2.03m forward will also have an exit clause to leave for the NBA during the 2023-24 season.

Sirvydis has a good chance of making it to the final roster of the Lithuania national team, which will participate in the FIBA World Cup 2023.

In 14 minutes on average, Sirvydis scored 8.0 points (44.4% 3P), 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals in games against Ukraine and Georgia.

During three friendly matches with Jordan, representing the reserve team, Sirvydis averaged 15.3 points (47.6% 3P), 3.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

Sirvydis is returning to Europe after a three-year break.

Since the 2020-21 season, the Lithuanian has been playing in the NBA and G League.

In 23 NBA games with the Detroit Pistons, he averaged 1.9 points and 1.5 rebounds.

His best performance came against the Denver Nuggets, scoring 16 points.

During the 2022-23 G League season, Sirvydis averaged 10.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
