After the devastating floods that struck Slovenia on Friday, Luka Doncic, the star of both the Dallas Mavericks and his homeland, has stepped forward with a heartfelt promise of assistance.

Through his foundation, he has established contact with local authorities and is wholeheartedly committed to aiding their tireless relief efforts.

The situation within Slovenia remains tense in the wake of Friday's torrential rain that caused catastrophic floods. Numerous rivers continue to overflow, triggering fresh waves of flooding, while new reports of landslides emerge. Consequently, many areas find themselves entirely isolated from the outside world.

A growing number of nations are extending their hands in solidarity with Slovenia during this trying time.

Taking to Instagram, Doncic shared a message from the Luka Doncic Foundation, wherein he pledges his support.

The complete message reads as follows:

"Luka Doncic Foundation is shaken by catastrophic floods that continue sweeping Slovenian communities, destroying homes, and claiming lives. We are in touch with local authorities to support their relief efforts and will continue to respond to their needs, given the circumstances.

We sincerely thank all the firefighters and first responders on the field who risk their lives to help those most affected. Each and every citizen of Slovenia who has faced the heart-wrenching loss of their homes and loved ones in the wake of these floods remains in our thoughts and close to our hearts. We will help them with the best we can."
