Ozdemiroglu, who sustained an injury during a friendly game between Turkey and Italy, underwent examinations in Istanbul. The results revealed a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
Ozdemiroglu's journey led him to Anadolu Efes earlier this offseason, as he inked a two-year agreement with the team.
He last played for Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul. Over 12 BCL games in 2022-23, he averaged 12.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per contest.
The 27-year-old guard also left his mark in the Turkish Basketball Super League (BSL) while playing for his former team. His averages of 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game resulted in 15.5 PIR.
