The new Houston Rockets signing, Jock Landale, did not participate in the game due to an injury. Nevertheless, it's not considered to be serious enough for him to miss the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
"Jock Landale is currently injured with a rolled ankle and will likely miss the much-anticipated games in Melbourne but is expected to make a full recovery and head to Japan," the federation noted.
Australia is set to play three friendly games against Venezuela, Brazil, and South Sudan on August 14, 16, and 17 in Melbourne, Australia.
