The day after a win in a friendly game against Canada, the German national team announced the final roster for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.

Oscar da Silva from FC Barcelona and Leon Kratzer from Paris Basketball were cut from the 14-man roster to finalize the squad with several weeks left until the main tournament.

Headlining the roster are NBA talents Dennis Schroder, Franz Wagner, Daniel Theis, and Moritz Wagner, alongside several key role players from the EuroLeague, like Johannes Voigtmann, Johannes Thiemann, Andreas Obst, and Maodo Lo.

Germany will play in Group E in the World Cup with Finland, Australia, and Japan. The World Cup starts on August 25th.
