Head coach Kazys Maksvytis cut Azuolas Tubelis, who signed a two-way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers this summer, leaving 12 players on the roster.
The squad is headlined by New Orleans Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas. With multiple notable players declining to join the national team this summer, the roster features five athletes that will make their debuts with the main team.
Lithuania will play in Group D in the World Cup, joined by Montenegro, Mexico, and Egypt.
Before the tournament, Lithuania will play two more friendly games against Puerto Rico and Latvia in Taiwan.
