ASVEL officially confirmed that the club and the player agreed to terminate the contract. Interestingly, in January, ASVEL announced that Bost signed a deal until the end of the 2022-23 season. Also, there was no news about an extension.

Nevertheless, Bost leaves ASVEL after making 15 EuroLeague appearances for the club last season.

The 33-year-old guard averaged 8.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 8.3 PIR per game.

"I wanted to come back to the EuroLeague, but I wasn't searching for it," Bost told BasketNews in March about his move to ASVEL. "I had just signed a two-year extension. ASVEL came and my agent, who's Greek (Nikos Spanos), made it happen. I still have Gala's jersey. That's one of my homes. I left, but it was part of basketball and business."
