Poland defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina, claiming its spot in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament next year. However, with 39 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Balcerowski attempted an alley-oop dunk after a pass from Mateusz Ponitka.
The big man was stopped mid-air by Jusuf Nurkic and violently fell to the ground.
Balcerowski remained lying on the floor for a couple of minutes. Ultimately, he was able to return to the bench on his own but could not continue playing.
Before the exit, Balcerowski had scored 14 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and made 3 assists for 21 PIR.
When the Polish players celebrated the win, Balcerowski remained sitting on the bench. However, he was able to give the post-game interview to the Polish television TVP after several minutes.
