"Lundberg is a quality player, and he proved that in the first few months of the last season, then he suffered an injury that limited him quite a bit. It's never easy to play in Milos Teodosic's role. During the summer, he received some offers. He had two proposals from the BCL, one that matched the salary that he has with us and another that was slightly lower but with a longer contract. He legitimately decided to turn them down," Ronci said.
"Also, two EuroLeague clubs asked for information, but there weren't conditions to make the deal happen. We don't give up our players for free. He's our player, and tomorrow we'll have a new meeting with him. The situation is clear. There's no issue. If, in the next few weeks, there'll be the conditions for his departure, he'll leave. Otherwise, he'll stay here."
Last season, Lundberg averaged 8.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists over 29 EuroLeague games.
