It was only five years ago that Canada set the previous high in assists made with 37 against Jordan to share the previous high mark with Serbia.
However, they breezed past that total with an impressive display at the Indonesia Arena to become the first team to register 40+ assists in a single game at the World Cup since the data was officially recorded from 1994.
