Dominica edged out Angola 75-67 in Game Day 3, secured the third win in a row, and eliminated the African representatives from further contention.

Meanwhile, Towns picked up three quick personal fouls at the start of the first quarter which limited his playing time significantly. On top of that, as he returned to the floor after halftime, he got his fourth personal and had to sit on the bench for the whole third period.

After getting four fouls in four minutes, Minnesota Timberwolves big man had the best fourth tally, where he avoided elimination from the game.

Towns accumulated 8 points (1/2 2PT, 1/2 3PT, 3/3 FT), 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 blocks over 15 minutes of play.

He posted a strong double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds in a win vs. Italy and combined 26 points and 10 boards in his World Cup debut against the Philippines.
