On Wednesday, August 30, Groups B, C, F, and G will resume their competition to ascertain the teams moving to Second Round and those relegated to Classification Games.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 has been thriving with captivating drama, and the excitement only intensifies as we approach the pivotal do-or-die games in Groups B, C, F, and G scheduled for Wednesday.

Serbia won comfortably against South Sudan in the first game of the day of Group B with Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nikola Jovic combining for 48 points. In Group F, Georgia defeated Venezuela 70-59 behind Toko Shengelia's 25-point performance.

As the day progressed, Team USA dominated against Jordan and advanced to the next round of the competition without a single loss in the first group. Anthony Edwards finished with 22 points, while Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 20 points for Jordan.

In another crucial matchup, the victory of Brazil against Ivory Coast earned a well-deserved spot in the Second Round for the South American side. Yago Dos Santos was absolutely crucial for Brazil, finishing the game with a double-double, 24 points and 12 assists.

Slovenia, led by their mega-talent Luka Doncic, remained perfect in the First Group after defeating Cape Verde 92-77. Doncic flirted with the triple-double and ended the game with 19 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds.

Last but certainly not least, all eyes were on the showdown between Greece and New Zealand. This crucial game was won by Greece and coach itoudis' side will now advance to the next round. After finishing the first half down by 11 points, Greece bounced back in the second half, behind the great efforts of Ioannis Papapetrou and Giannoulis Larentzakis.

In the final game of the day, which had no effect at all on the standings, Spain, who had already secured their spot in the next round, won comfortably against Iran with the final score of 85-65.
