FIBA World Cup 2023 Second-Round matchups are set as 16 teams advance and continue their fight for the title. These teams are: the Dominican Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Montenegro, Germany, Australia, Canada, Latvia, Team USA, Spain, Serbia, Georgia, Brazil, Slovenia, Puerto Rico, and Greece.

These teams are: the Dominican Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Montenegro, Germany, Australia, Canada, Latvia, Team USA, Spain, Serbia, Georgia, Brazil, Slovenia, Puerto Rico, and Greece.
These 16 teams have emerged as the top two performers from the initial tournament phase, where they competed in Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H.
With the First Round completed, these teams will now be divided into new gatherings, namely Groups I, J, K, and L.
It's important to note that the outcomes of the three games played in the First Round will carry over to the Second Round. In this upcoming phase, each team will face the two teams they didn't encounter in the First Round, resulting in a total of 16 games (2 games per team and 4 games per group).
The top two teams from each newly-formed group will qualify for the Quarter-Finals.
Contrarily, the teams that finish in the bottom two positions within each group will be eliminated from the title contention and ranked in places from 9 to 16.
