While many NBA fans may not consider him Hall of Fame material, Drummond himself believes he has a shot at joining the ranks of basketball legends.

Chicago Bulls center argues that his career accomplishments, particularly his remarkable rebounding skills, make a strong case for his inclusion among the greats.

"I used to play 40-plus minutes. I was a star -- All-Star, All-NBA, I've done it. Hall of Fame candidate, best rebounder ever... I'm the best ever. I've done great in my career," Drummond said on The Comfortable Pod.

"I think I have a chance to be a Hall of Fame player due to what I've done in my career. Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm in the Top 20 for being in the Hall of Fame, so I have a great chance," he added.

In the past, Drummond was renowned as one of the NBA's premier rebounders, earning the title of rebounding champion four times (2016, 2018-20) and making two All-Star appearances (2016, 2018). He averages 12.7 rebounds throughout his NBA career and 785 appearances.

However, his performance has declined since leaving the Detroit Pistons in the 2019-20 season.

Over the last three seasons, the 30-year-old center has played for various teams, including the Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Brooklyn Nets.

His statistics from the previous season reflect a noticeable dip in his numbers, with averages of 6.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
