Isaac Bonga, Mo Wagner, Niels Giffey, Johannes Thiemann, Andreas Obst, and Justus Hollatz organized an improvised three-point shooting contest while Schroder tested his range from the logo.
Franz Wagner, who had been sidelined for most of the FIBA World Cup due to an ankle injury, was seen working individually.
He sharpened his shooting and engaged in one-on-one drills with a personal coach. He dunked the ball several times, executed fadeaway shots, and displayed smooth movements on the court.
"He had no team practice yet. No 5-on-5 or contact yet," Herbert confirmed to BasketNews. "We're going to have to see what's his situation on Tuesday if he's able to practice tomorrow. The medical staff will make the decision on Wednesday. It's a process."
Germany is scheduled to face Latvia on Wednesday. Herbert admitted he hadn't had a chance to closely follow Latvia's game performance.
He acknowledged that the Latvian team had performed remarkably well, upsetting title contenders like France and former World Cup champions Spain.
"They played very well. They play very good European basketball. Well-coached, play together, shoot the ball really well," Herbert gave his brief assessment. "A lot of credit to them."
Regarding the other results and the entire World Cup, Herbert was asked if he expected Team USA to lose any games, particularly to Lithuania.
"I haven't had a chance to follow any other team except ours. We play every second day, so we don't have much time to see what's going on. But it shows how strong the basketball world is," Herbert said.
