Extra engravings and special markings were added to the official 2023 FIBA World Cup basketball. The new item will be exclusively used in the final. There are a total of 1200 such basketballs made. They are sold in the Philippines for 18,000 Philippine pesos (~€294).

FIBA has announced that Molten, the official manufacturer of the item, has designed a new ball for the game.
The tournament logo as well as the Naismith Trophy have been engraved in gold in addition to the date of the final and a unique serial number.
The ball is decorated with heart and wave elements, while four of the twelve panels are adorned with glitter lamination.
Only 1200 such basketballs have been made. They are available for purchase starting September 4th in the Philippines and cost 18,000 Philippine pesos (~€294).
Each basketball is packaged in a custom box.
