German Basketball Federation officially confirmed that Wagner will be available in the quarterfinal matchup against Latvia.

Before Tuesday, the German forward practiced individually but did not join the team in group practice. On Tuesday, Wagner was featured in five-on-five action for the first time since the injury.

So far, Wagner played only in the opening game against Japan, finishing the contest with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 2 turnovers, and 13 EFF.

Wagner suffered an ankle injury at the end of the game. After a minor collision in mid-air with a Japanese player, the 21-year-old Wagner landed awkwardly on his left ankle.

He grabbed his ankle immediately after the incident and was evidently in pain. Wagner then hobbled off the court, unable to continue.
