Brandon Ingram will miss the FIBA World Cup semifinal vs. Germany due to upper respiratory illness.

Team USA will face Germany in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 semifinal without Brandon Ingram, the team announced.

According to a statement, the New Orleans Pelican star will miss the matchup due to upper respiratory illness.

The 26-year-old has been averaging 5.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 7.3 EFF per game in 6 FIBA World Cup appearances.

Team USA game against Germany will tip-off at 8:40 a.m. ET/2:40 p.m. CET. The winner of the game will meet Serbia in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 final on Sunday.
