Dennis Schroder (Germany), Bogdan Bogdanovic (Serbia), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Canada), Anthony Edwards (USA), and Luka Doncic (Slovenia) have been named to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 All-Star Five.

Following the conclusion of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, the All-Star Five has been announced.

It consists of Dennis Schroder (Germany), Bogdan Bogdanovic (Serbia), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Canada), Anthony Edwards (USA), and Luka Doncic (Slovenia).

After a rather slow start in the Group Stage, Bogdanovic started firing on all cylinders right at the beginning of the playoffs.

In the final, he accumulated17 points (3/5 2PT, 3/5 3PT, 2/2 FT), 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 turnover, 1 steal, and 22 EFF.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Gilgeous-Alexander finished the tournament as the most efficient player of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, averaging 30.4 EFF per game in 8 games.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star was unstoppable in the 3rd-place game against Team USA, accumulating 31 points (10/17 2PT, 1/3 3PT, 8/8 FT), 6 rebounds, 12 assists, 1 turnover, 1 block, and 40 EFF.

"Shai has been amazing, to me, he's an MVP of this World Cup. What these guys did today is amazing," Canada's head coach Jordi Fernandez said after the game.

Edwards has undoubtedly been a man for this Team USA squad, averaging 18.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 16.8 EFF per game in 8 FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 appearances.

His best performance of the tournament came in a 104-110 loss against Lithuania, as he finished the game with 35 points (9/13 2PTT, 5/13 3PT, 2/4 FT), 1 rebound, 2 assists, 3 steals, 2 turnovers, and 26 EFF.

Edwards gathered attention with his response to a question about Team USA's adjustment to FIBA rules.

Even though Slovenia finished in 7th place, Luka Doncic became the top-scorer of the competition, averaging 27.1 points per game.

On top of that, he has been averaging7.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 2.5 steals, and 26.1 EFF per game.

Dallas Mavericks superstar was close to the first-ever FIBA Basketball World Cup triple-double on a couple of occasions, but his best game was the first one against Venezuela.

The 24-year-old accumulated 37 points (9/10 2PT, 2/8 3PT, 13/16 FT), 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 4 turnovers, and 39 EFF.
