Ross, the No. 8 overall pick of the Toronto Raptors in 2012, holds career averages of 11.0 points and 2.8 rebounds in 733 appearances in NBA regular-season games over 11 years. In 2014, he scored a career-high 51 points as a Raptors player in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
"I was offered. I was like 'Ah!' Who knows… who knows," Ross said during a Twitch stream when asked about rumors of a possible arrival in Serbia. The 32-year-old player did not specify the name of the club that made him the offer.
Recently, according to Telesport, Ross once again referred to Partizan during another broadcast when fans asked him if there was a chance for him to sign with the Serbian powerhouse.
"My wife and her family are from Serbia," he replied.
"Although many of them have moved around the world, they are all from the former Yugoslavia. I have many friends and family there, my wife often takes the kids to Serbia, and I have a lot of family connections there," he continued.
"If there is an opportunity to return to Serbia together with my family and live there for a certain period of time, that is something I would certainly think about because it has enormous sentimental importance. If I was going to play overseas, that's the only option," the NBA veteran said.
