The day after the match, James Nunnally shared a snippet of the atmosphere on X, formerly Twitter, saying that nothing matches the spectacle Partizan fans create. He received a racist comment under his post.

A user named ZvezdašDoKoske replied, 'Nothing like your mother, monkey' in Serbian. It sparked a fierce reaction from Nunnally.

The Partizan forward openly questioned the user's motives and sarcastically offered to meet him for an ice cream.

"Damn openly being racist on the internet.. shocking.. that monkey shit is old tho," the player wrote. "At least be original. Can I take u out for ice cream? U need a hug?"

The user has since deleted the reply.
