Zalgiris Kaunas wing Ignas Brazdeikis is finalizing an agreement with EuroLeague runner-up Olympiacos Piraeus, according to BasketNews sources.

The Lithuanian club will receive a €500,000 buyout for the transfer, as BasketNews sources indicate.

On July 21, Zalgiris activated a contract option in Brazdeikis' 1+1 deal signed last summer.

Brazdekis, 24, played his first season overseas in 2022-23 after NBA stints with the New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Orlando Magic.

The Lithuanian national team member averaged 11.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 8.8 PIR over 35 EuroLeague games last season.

He recently represented Lithuania in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, where Brazdeikis posted 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in eight appearances and helped his country finish sixth.
