With the arrival of Zeljko Obradovic, the hype surrounding the team intensified before the comeback to the EuroLeague in 2022. Last year, the club sold around 11,500 season tickets. This year, the number is even bigger.
The club's president, Ostoja Mijailovic, announced that Partizan sold a record number of 16,124 season tickets, filling more than 80% of the Stark Arena, the largest indoor venue in Europe. This is a new EuroLeague record.
"Great news for all the fans of our club. Today, we conclude the sale of season tickets. It is a record for our club, and only reservations remain. Partizan sold 16,124 tickets. They exceeded expectations in the budget part, with 690,000,000 dinars (~€5.8M) being the profit from it," Mijailovic said. "We have left a contingent of tickets that we can sell as daily tickets."
Partizan play the first EuroLeague game of the new season against FC Barcelona on October 17th.
